Hello, my name is Baylee Hux and I am an LPC Associate. As a counselor, I work to provide a safe environment where clients can feel comfortable, open, and honest. My goal is to work alongside you to reach the goals we set together. I believe in building a therapeutic relationship on trust, honesty, and authenticity.

I earned my B.S. in Psychology from Abilene Christian University and my M.S. in Clinical Psychology, and Clinical Counseling from Capella University. I am also currently working on my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology to further my education and knowledge to provide the best care for my clients. have experience working with older children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I have a passion for working with others regardless of the struggles they are experiencing. While having experience using different modalities in the therapeutic setting, I prefer to use a client-centered and eclectic approach to meet the needs of whoever walks through the door.

I highly value the therapeutic relationship with my clients through the use of empathy, humor, and compassion. All I ask of my clients is to attend sessions and be themselves as authentic as possible. My specialties include depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.
