Autism Intervention

JTC is an EIDBI Center (Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention) which means we provide medically necessary intervention for children, adolescents and adults under the age of 21 who are diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Additionally, the EIDBI approach emphasizes the importance of educating and training the parents and families of those with ASD and advocating for the independence of those with ASD as they participate in family, school, and community life. The EIDBI approach works to improve long-term outcomes for those with ASD and their families.

At JTC, we use the combined approach of mental health therapy and behavior modification to work on the core symptoms of Autism. Great importance is placed on building social and emotional skills. Our approach is strength-based, where we emphasize creating positive self-image. Currently, we offer in-home EIDBI services. If you or someone you know could benefit from an approach like this, please contact us.
