Hello, my name is Aracely, but I go by Sally for short. I love working with individuals who are seeking growth, fulfillment, and meaningful relationships. I enjoy exploring the various aspects of life together with my clients. My goal is to work together to come up with healthy solutions so that you can be you, authentically. As a counselor, I recognize my role in assisting clients in reaching their goals. I seek to build a therapeutic relationship in which they feel safe to explore difficult issues. I use unique styles of therapy to achieve this goal but specialize in using a person-centered approach. I strive to assist clients and their families process emotions and learn coping skills to deal with everyday stressors and decrease symptoms.

I have earned my Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling with a specialization of cognitive disabilities from San Diego State University. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and belief systems. My specialty is working with youth with disabilities from Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Anxiety and Depression navigate their lives and transition out of high school. I also have experience helping individuals through anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, grief, bariatric surgery, pre-marital, and family communication.
